2000 Year Old Roman Glass Jar Base with Smooth Sterling Silver
This 2000 Year Old Roman Glass Jar Base was once part of a glass vessel used by the Roman Empire at the beginning of the 1st century AD. The glass is recovered in Israel and is set in a sterling silver design created from a handcrafted lost-wax mold. The unique handmade diamond cut texture, along with the ancient art of lost-wax casting perfectly compliment the extraordinary history and origin of the glass.
Handmade and one-of-a-kind this piece of Jewelry is strung with round pyrite stone beads and a sterling silver chain then secured with a sterling silver clasp.
