This 2000 Year Old Roman Glass Shard was once part of a glass vessel used by the Roman Empire at the beginning of the 1st century AD. The glass is recovered in Israel and is set in sterling silver atop a diamond cut oval created from a handcrafted lost-wax mold. The unique handmade diamond cut texture, along with the ancient art of lost-wax casting perfectly compliment the extraordinary history and origin of the glass.
Handmade and one-of-a-kind this piece of Jewelry is strung on a lead and nickel-free silver plated rolo chain, then secured with a sterling silver clasp.
