This 2000 Year Old Roman Glass Shard was once part of a glass vessel used by the Roman Empire at the beginning of the 1st century AD. The glass is recovered in Israel and is set in sterling silver, this piece has a rope design created from a handcrafted lost-wax mold. The unique handmade oval shape and rope design, along with the ancient art of lost-wax casting, perfectly compliment the extraordinary history and origin of the glass.
Handmade and one-of-a-kind the beads on this piece are round faceted jade and silver faceted pyrite, then secured with a sterling silver clasp.
